Any roadmap on improved Frontend/Backend for Kontakt 8?
I hear very little about improvements for the Kontakt 8 frontend and backend.
Kontakt 8 still has a lot of GUIs from the Classic view I thought would start to get new frontend/backend versions like some low hanging fruit before delving into sample instrument design.
- The Purge All UX (Purge button with MIDI CC option+NKS at the top (maybe place it by the panic button in the new GUI)
- The Mix view (with so much backend tech it is a crime to not improve it).
- The Automation and MIDI settings tab. Lots of manual labor for composers who still need it. But it would be nice with quality of life improvements, especially when setting up older Kontakt libraries where you repeat a lot of MIDI settings.
What can we see added in Q1, Q2 2025?
Sidenote: Migration (Uninstall) button in Native Access would be nice to see on the backlog for Kontakt 9 with proper guidance for different supported DAWs (like backup your template etc) and actual info the manual and official instruction videos.
