Hello…

I'm new here.

I work on organizing my music on my PC, but I play on Mac. Now I felt the need to create a playlist.

Now when I transfer playlists through the NML file from PC to Mac, my tracks lose the original import date.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Thanks

are you copying or moving the files ?
i believe if you have copied them, it creates a "new" file so it is technically a "new" import in a "new" library.
try maybe syncing your library with your mac through google drive or something similar so the database stays updated even if the file tags are rewritten ?

I've already tested it, copying the tracks with the NML file or just transporting the NML file, in both ways Traktor creates a new import date!

sad to hear it. i did have some similar issue and looked up my own database. some of the songs i've had on my 2009 macbook kept the tags (written to files i assume) even when copying files and rebuilding a library.

i'm as confused as you are.
