RX 11 does not work with Logic Pro X 11 and their is no support anywhere to get

As soon as I downloaded RX 11 and inserted it as plug in on a track logic went into overload and now I can play the track even if I have take RX 11 out of all channels. the installation guide on Izotope is not updated to Logic 11, so now you are warned. I have to uninstall to move on

Also please notice that some of what RX 11 does is extremely resource demanding and even in 'Edit' mode it can make a computer 'pause' doing some of the most heavy tasks. RX 11 is actually one of the main reasons that I not so long ago upgraded my PC seeing how RX 11 were so demanding that it more or less froze my old PC waiting when doing most resource demanding things. (I am still a complete novice when it comes to RX 11)

the problem there is that I have to go thru a lot of community chatter, in hope someone by chance adresses my problem. Thats is not going working for me. No one to contact and I am NOT enthusiastic about repeating my prior experience with RX 11, which caused a lot of trouble and waste of time.

RX is in no way, shape or form designed to be used on the master bus in real-time. Which plug-ins were you using?

maybe so, its sold as a plug in for your Daw, but that is not feasible.

It's available as a plugin, but not generally for a DAW. It's intended more for audio editing where you're repairing damaged audio or tidying up a track before mastering. At that point you're more likely to be using something like Wavelab to edit a single audio file rather than it being in a DAW. There's also the standalone application that's a dedicated clean-up solution.

What are you actually trying to achieve with RX? It might be there's a better solution.

Actually then RX 11 is for use in a DAW it's just not very clear to the casual reader other than by using the word 'Production' that it is for 'editing' and not for use in 'real time'

None of those plug-ins are designed for the master bus. In addition, many of the noise reduction plug-ins require significant latency, and should therefore be used with caution.

Sure, some, such as the RX Voice Denoise plug-in, are zero latency, and so work more effectively in realtime.

But realtime is the key word here. Many of the RX plug-ins work in a DAW, but are intended for use as offline plug-ins, used in an audio editing workflow, whereupon they can be rendered or committed to audio before playback.

Just because a plugin is marketed as for use in a DAW (which of course it is, it's a plugin) that doesn't mean you use all plugins the same way. Most people who use plugins like RX know that most of the plugins (with a couple of exceptions) have a huge amount of latency because of they way they work as audio restoration tools, which makes them unsuitable for realtime use.

Never the less then it appears as if the casual readers do not all know this. Anyway then I think that it is KimH that you need to 'convince' not I. I merely referred to that RX 11 in fact says 'can be used in a DAW' and how casual readers might comprehend things as opposed to those that already understands these things.

Latency is not the problem, that can be dealt with when I mix. But I understand now, that RX 11 is a finalizer for specified needs and not in a multitrack environment. Good to know. Thank you guys for joining in. I am the wiser now.
