Clips can't move free from grid in Maschine 3.0 with Mikro Mk3?

Thank you for reading!

I recently started using Maschine 3.0 with the Maschine Mikro MK3.

I watched a video explaining how to make sweeps and risers with Maschine, and it introduced a shortcut for freeing a Clip's position from the grid.

The video demonstrated pressing SHIFT + FOLLOW + PAD16 on the Maschine MK3.

I'd like to know how to do this with my Maschine Mikro MK3 or the Maschine software.

    Hello,

have you tried this from the manual:

To select a new Grid value, press SHIFT + FOLLOW (Grid), and then press Button 3 (ARRANGE) or Button 4 (STEP). To change the value of the selected Grid, press the pad relative to the value you want to use.

    or:

Adjusting the Start of a Clip In Song view, you can adjust the start of a Clip. When you adjust the start point, it snaps to the nearest position on the grid, using the current Arrange Grid value. To adjust the start of a Clip on the Arranger: 1. Hold SHIFT + IDEAS (Song). 2. Then press Button 2 (SONG) to select the Song view. 3. Press Button 2 (CLIPS) to select Clips. 4. Turn the 4-D encoder to select the Clip you want to adjust. 5. Turn Knob 3 to adjust the start of the selected Clip.

→ The start of the Clip is adjusted. Press SHIFT to override the Arranger Grid and adjust the Clip in smaller intervals

also if you can move the clip with the encoder try to press shift and turn the encoder, this should give you the smallest steps to move the clip without changing the arranger grid size
