I use Kontakt 8 to play Finale-files. I can't help it in this version of Kontakt.
Have no idea what Finale supports or does not support and my understanding is that Finale is now discontinued.
Off the top of my head - this could be Finale maybe only working with VST2 versions of Kontakt 6/7 whereas Kontakt 8 no longer has a VST2.
And the same would apply for Cremona as it would load up via Kontakt 8.
I would find out exactly what Finale did “see” for VST formats.

Sorry, I mean, with Kontakt 6 en 7, it was no problem. In 'Finale score manager' I could indicate that the Finale file had to be played in Kontakt, no problem. In Kontakt 8 this has changed which I do not understand yet. I also bought Cremona Quartet with which I also want to play Finale files which also does not work. Cremona Quartet only works in Kontakt 8. I have not figured it out yet. I can use some help.
