Akai Midimix + Maschine on Mac ?

Hi, I have a Maschine Mikro MK3 and recently bought an Akai Midimix.

It works perfectly on Ableton Live 12, but Midimix doesn't work with Maschine.

I am using macOS Sequoia.

Do you have any feedback or tips ?

basically, it comes with direct connection to ableton , a sort of integrated factory template probably using some protocol , and not regular midi cc assignments

Kinda like how the maschine controller works with the maschine software.

It does have the ability to create midi templates , but maschine isn’t something you could really map

Example, midi cc 7 controls velocity/volume , you could map each fader to cc 7 on different midi channels , but the maschine mixer can’t be controlled by midi , the vst on that channel could because vst mostly allow for midi mapping
