Komplete Kontrol Crashing 3.3.4 and 3.3.2

Literally haven't opened this thing in months as it just seems to always be an issue. I thought maybe after so long it might actually function but here I am, spending more time trying to get it to not crash than I am making music.

computer: Macbook Pro M2 Pro

  • Reinstalled (3.3.4)
  • Removed and downgraded to 3.3.2
  • ensured full disk access
  • wiped out files in application support

Still crashes when "intializing GUI" every god dang time

I started trying to use it as an au in logic…crash

then i read folks saying I "need" to start up standalone

first to intialize. Okay… weird that I didn't see that anywhere from NI but tried that…crash. Then I tried all the things listed above…crash

Is there some other random thing I need to do to use it now?

    I'm currently on Ventura but I've decided to update to Sequoia in the hopes that I can get this working.

    I just wanted to control some Arturia plugins with my S61mk3.

    Updated to Sequoia and it's working.

    Not sure why Ventura stopped. I hadn't planned on updating but after making backups and doing so, things seem to be working so far.

    There was a kernel panic that Apple fixed that affected us. That would be my guess.
