How to make this Setup Sound any good? Yamaha P-515, Kontakt 8, SMR Sounds Max Richter Piano

Hi guys

I'm very new to this and have the following Setup that i don't seem to be able to get to work, so it sounds any good.

Yamaha P-515 as my Midi Instrument and Output

Windows 11 with Kontakt 8

SRM Sounds Max Richter Piano as a the Sample

Asio4all v2 driver and Yamaha Steinber USB Driver

I get a Sound back through my Headphones connected to my Piano, but it sounds creepy.

When i Hit a key directly in Kontakt 8 it sounds much clearer and i suppose as it should…what could be the Problem?

    Hey Michael,

    You only need to select the keyboard as a MIDI input, the fact that you have a different sound when using the Yamaha versus the onscreen keyboard could indicate some kind of MIDI loop.

    Steinberg have a very fgood ASIO driver, there is no need to use Asio4All.
