Rickenbacker Bass / Glissando

Hi all,

one small question on using the Rickenbacker Bass.

I want to do something like a "Glissando" (am I using the correct term?), meaning, play a ton on the bass guitar, and then move it up and down by one octave within one beat (the bass play would just slide the fingers along the bass guitar neck, not picking more tones).

Since I cannot find an option to make the Pitch Bend commands cross one octave within Rickenbacker Bass: is there a possibility to achieve that?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards

    Thanks, Uwe.

And: the video, which you linked, is perfect and shows the solution.

Exactly what I was looking for, and great to see such perfect features / solution approaches in the implementation of NI.

You might ask the Kontakt forum assuming it's Kontakt instrument. There might be a way to increase the pitch bend to an octave.

    Thank you, Studiowaves.

I am a beginner with NI, so let me ask two more related questions:

    • when doing something via Komplete, how could I have found out, that this is a Kontakt instrument?
    • is there a possibility to move my original question to the Kontakt forum, or do I need to re-post?

    Thanks in advance
