Hello

am using an iRIG HD2 to connect my guitar to the USB Port of my Lenovo Win 11 Laptop. I can the a reaction in GR7 playing the guitar as the bars showinginput and output. But I can hear nothing. Windows setting are correct (iRg as input, Audioarray as output). Any ideas?

Hello,

how have you set rig as input and audio array as output? Do you use asio4all or something like that, then you have setup it wrong. As far as I know, could be wrong, audio array means mic inputs, Ann array of at least 2 mics or more. Ar least on my laptop it is, and output is just realtek out. Why not use the rig output?

I have WSAPI intalled, using iRIG as Input, and now, thank you for the hint, as output too, which works for using GR7. Unfortunatelly no other sound output (e.g. media apps) are working this way. Also the connection has a little latency, meaning, playing a note on the guitar has a little delay before it comes through my external media player (bose amplifier).

Another problem is, that I cannot resize the GR7 window on my windows 11 laptop. The GR windows overlaps the borders og ma laptop screen and i can`t manage to fit into the screen as there are no arrows to resize (which are normally there). also the square in the upper right corner is gray??? I have reinstalled GR several times, alwys the same…

Any ideas on this?

You have to download the audio driver from the ik multimedia website you have to be logged in in order to do that. Then you install this and select this as audio device, then your latency will be much shorter. But then you will be not able to hear other stuff maybe, from the browser for example but gr7 has a media player where you can load songs to play to and even record it. And in the upper left corner you have a percentage, have you tried to set it to 75 percent?

Thanx for your help! Could you tell me where to find the IK Driver? I only find StealzhPlug/-Pedal driver which are old.

I have installed it anyway, but didn`t changes anything…

The 75% setting helps, but it is little. I guess there is an graphical issue with GR7?
