Display switches to Midi Settings

in Komplete Kontrol

Hi , I am new with NI and DAWS .

When I load Kontakt 8 in Logic Pro the display of my Komplete S 61 Keyboard switches to :

Default MIDI Template and the Light Indicators are gone.

Can anyone help, thanks for answers .

    Hi , thanks for the answers.

    Meanwhile I found the solution. When the display of my Kontrol S 61 switches to Default Midi template, I have to go to Link / Controller and even though my Midi keyboard is marked, a double click on it lets the display switch back to the instrument or library.

    load Komplete Kontrol, not Kontact itself.

    Which version of S61 do you have? The S88MK3 works fine in Kontakt 8, if the keyboard has been installed per the installation directions and configured correctly for your audio and midi in your DAW so the same would apply to the S61MK3.

    Normally you get the Default MIDI Template and no lights if the keyboard is turned on but nothing is connected to it.
