Music folder does not update in Traktor
Hello everyone, I have a problem with my music folder and newly added music.
My System : Mac Book Pro M3 mit Sequoia 15.2 und Traktor DJ 4.11.23
My entire music collection is on the internal SSD. When working with Traktor, I added this music folder as a music folder in the file management. 2 weeks ago I sorted a lot of new music into my music folder in the Mac Finder.
However, I can't find all these new tracks and one or two new albums when I browse and search in the music folder on Traktor. I've already tried updating with "Import to collection". That didn't work.
I also deleted this music folder in File Management. The folder is still visible in the Traktor browser. Adding a new music album didn't help either. The tracks are missing.
But if I go to the music folder in the Traktor browser in Explorer on Macintosh HD / user / music / I can find all the new tracks. If I command this folder to "Import to Collection" the program starts scanning for a long time. But after 5 - 10 minutes the program stops with the message "Program memory full".
I really hope someone can help me!
Sorry for the not so good spelling, I am German and used Google Translate to help
Thank you very much

LevJo, this is almost similar to the issues that I am having, too, and I think this is specific to a recent update to TRAKTOR PRO (I'm on version 4.11.23).
On all previous versions of Traktor, I used to click on "Music" (i.e., the Apple Music/iTunes option) and it would bring through all my iTunes playlists and have "Library" there to choose from. I would always select "Library" and scroll to the very bottom to pick up newly purchased/downloaded music and drag them into my Traktor playlists. This is no longer possible, and I just get the "Traktor could not locate iTunes library".
Frankly, Native Instruments have been incredibly poor at providing help to the point they have been ignoring my emails and requests for help - which as a paying user is unacceptable.
Like you, I hope someone on the community can help with fixing this, as it has seriously tarnished my enjoyment of it (I have been using Traktor since 2012 and am now seriously considering leaving it for a competitor). There must be a way to relink the Apple Music/iTunes library to Traktor, but alas there's nothing online or in the manuals to help.
Native Instruments, I think you need to help us out here - there have been several screenshots provided to you in my emails - and I look forward to your engagement.
Meantime, I hope someone on here might be able to help.

Further to my above comment below. Quite an issue to solve and NI have been zero help in the last 3-weeks on this, but I found this great video which has helped me solve the issue. Hopefully this is helpful for you, too.
