How do you turn this thing off in Controller mode

When in controller mode, if I close the Maschine software or disconnect the USB the Maschine Plus stays on with the screens dimly lit.

This thing will live plugged into my computer, so Id prefer to not have the screen on 24/7 and burn them out. But I can't figure out how to shut it off in controller mode.

I guess I could exit controller mode or disconnect the power source every time, doesn't seem ideal.

You need to press the power button and hold for 8 seconds.

That worked!

Weirdly if it is only plugged into the laptop, no power source, then if I hold for 8 seconds it will turn off but immediately restart.

When plugged into the power source too it will just shut off.

8 seconds is a long hold time but Im just glad there's a function for this at all.
