Preventing memory overload errors
Every once a while when working with KK or KONTAKT I get this wired error. It says something about having not enough memoery. I am on a PC and have 64Gb of RAM. Do not use any kind of virtual disks or other "tricky software".
when this message pop-up I cannot load more presets, despite I have about 40Gb RAM free.
This usually happens when I keep KONTAKT opened and flip over different patches, by loading one after another. In other words I can do it only so many times and then get an error.
So far the only way to fix this for me was to close KK completely and reopen it, or sometimes close my DAW.
I assume there is some buffer limit in the software parameters which creates this limitation. I've seen some messages about it, but cannot find any simple solution.
I was wondering if anybody has some solution for this ?
