it is my understanding that I need to ask you guys to hopefully provide me with a software solution for my Maschine Mk1 ie. Mk2 software not available as a direct download.

Do you have a licence for the Maschine 2 software? If you do it should be available in Native Access, at least it is on my systems here.
You can download older versions of the software from this page, but unless you have a licence for it you can only use it in demo mode - https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000564125-Maschine-2-Legacy-Installers-for-Older-Operating-Systems

So once the Mk2 software & library are installed what other options do I have in terms of expanding my library. And software will not work with Windows 11 64bit?
The MK1 should be fine under Windows 11 with Maschine 2 software. You can use any of the Maschine expansions as there's no requirement for Maschine 3 in any of them as far as I'm aware.
