Can I export leap kits from kontakt for use on remix decks?

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. I've got one of the leap kits and I want to export all the sounds into a remix set for use with Traktor Pro 4. I can't seem to work it out. I either need to be able to export them natively, or play the sounds through my S8 so I can capture the sounds I want into the remix deck and create a set… is this possible?

I'm thinking that even if it's convoluted there must be a work around.

Thanks in advance for any answers!!

Thanks! I've had a poke around and tried to drag and drop, but traktor says it's an unknown file format. I can't find the WAV files anywhere

It would have helped to know exactly what it is that you want to use. Anyway then you are most likely doing something wrong or trying to use what is not supposed to be used. As far as I remember then I think that what is supposed to be 'compatible' for e.g. Maschine (? , not sure bear with me if I am wrong) then it is the 'loops'.

What I have found is that the Leap WAV is located in e.g.

    Content install location\Platinum Pop Library\Samples

Where Platinum Pop is the name of the Leap expansion in question.

Have you tried dragging the loops from the Kontakt browser straight into the cell of the remix deck? That should also import them into the Traktor Sample folder.

If that doesn't work just copy and paste the wav files from wherever the Loop expansion is installed to your Traktor Sample Folder, than just build a remix set in the usual way. You'll have to tag the files as loops or one shots within Traktor, I think.

I'll see if I can find a converter, but I am assuming that there are more than one sample in them as they are all named as 'kits'… which I had assumed meant they were each like a remix set in themselves, but just formatted for use in Kontakt instead of traktor. I was thinking I could play it to the line in and sample it through the S8… just seems a bit roundabout for something that should be a straight input.

If you are anybody else has any other ideas or details as to what I am doing wrong then I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for replying in the first place!! :)

oh you legend! thanks!! this is what I'm looking for. Thank you. I'm afraid I'm new to all this so I am not familiar with the lingo. Until now I've really just dealt in vinyl or tracks, all the samples, one shots and sampling side of things is new to me. I appreciate your patience.
