This is different issue than the one this thread was specifically about.

@jonthedreamer Many thanks, can't figure out if Ableton or NI flubbed it. None of my 3rd party instruments work either. Yeah will give this a go, hope they resolve it soon/it doesn't lead to chewed up files.

@Vocalpoint if you check through the video attachments that I posted in my first post you'll see that the issue is identical. Ableton 12.1.5, Can't click OK on the error message.

No no - I get that "Can't click OK" thing - as that is what I thought this thread was about.

But now folks are jumping in with "missing content instances" "File not found" and a bunch of other stuff - which I do not believe has nothing to do with the original intent of this thread.

@lloydwayne Yeah that's a little frustrating. I'm not a big fan of how Kontatk has changed to support third-party libraries. I don't have the time to almost ingest them all it's a little too manual and messy. I use the "Files" old system which I find faster and more organised.

My folder path is essential Kontakt SSD Dive > Third Party Kontakt > Library Developer > Library

Once you downgrade you might need to just opt for this method if the new system is a lil broken

@Vocalpoint yeah just refreshed my feed and I see your point. Apologises. Happy to help if possible though.

I have the same problem. I'm not able to click OK on the error message. Message keeps popping up even after I pointed to the new library location (like many times before). New library path is working when opening new empty project. Any solutions?

Finally got a response from Ableton:

    Hello,

I'm Ashley from the Tech Support Team. Thank you for contacting us.

I'm afraid this is a known issue we are tracking via our backlogs.

We are still investigating options for a fix. In the meantime, I recommend the following workaround:

Download Live 12.1.1 as this has worked for other users:

Here is a link to 12.1.1

    For further guidance:

    Installing Multiple Versions of Live

While I cannot offer any specific timeline for a fix, I have gone ahead and attached it to the tracking sheet used by our developers.

This ticket has linked to the bug report, so you should be notified if this is fixed in future updates.

I will put this ticket "on-hold" until further notice or updates. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

    Happy Holidays!

    Best,

Just wanted to check in again - did anybody hear back from Ableton yet?
