Installing Kontakt files in external HD

The Mac mini I use for audio/production doesn't have enough space to hold Kontakt 8's massive library. How can I install this on an external HD? I'm sure this has been asked before but I cannot find a reliable step-by-step. Thanks.

In Native Access open Preferences and set the Content path to a location on your HD. That will make NA install all the libraries/expansions onto the external disk.

Tried. "Invalid Path"

Or "download failed". Attempting to save to 1 TB Toshiba. Fairly standard I'm guessing.

Thanks both for the input. I don’t know what I did, but eventually it loaded on the external HD. Good to go!
