CAN T CONNECT NATIVE S61N TO CUBASE

Hello everyone,


I am posting here to ask for some clarifications.

For some time now—maybe since I upgraded to Cubase Pro 13 and then 14—I’ve been unable to properly use my S61 MK3 keyboard with Cubase. When I load Komplete Kontrol in Cubase, there’s no longer any connection. In other words, the screen on my keyboard no longer automatically displays the browser content, which is really frustrating.

I must clic to open the browser…

On top of that, I can’t even hear the metronome anymore. I must admit that all these compatibility issues are starting to wear me out.

If anyone could guide me through the settings for Cubase, the keyboard, or Komplete, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Ah yes, these are Leap expansions. You can load them in Komplete Kontrol but they're not in the instrument section, they're in the loops section:

    Have you checked in Komplete Kontrol in standalone? Is everything functional there? If you load Kontakt 7 or 8 do you have the same behaviour in Cubase? In standalone?

    Are you running Cubase, Kontakt and Komplete Kontrol as admin? How to Run a Program as an Administrator

    Have you updated everything regarding the keyboard? Firmware? The Hardware Connection Service? Please check in Native Access if there are available updates.

    Thank you very much Jeremy for your help. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I still have to check the 61 at the top to connect the keyboard... Moreover, I still can't access the two expansions I acquired this week.

    Ok but have you tried with Kontakt 7/8 instead of Komplete Kontrol? Is everything functional in Komplete Kontrol or Kontakt 7/8 in standalone in regards to the keyboard?

    Are you using any kind of template? If you simply open a blank project and load a Kontakt 7/8 or Komplete Kontrol track, is the keyboard greyed out or does this happen only after the first instrument loaded. In this case, it could be an issue with the auto-focus, a quite common issue with Cubase: My Komplete Kontrol Keyboard's Autofocus Function Does Not Work in Cubase

    These are Leap expansions for Kontakt so I don't think that they will show in Komplete Kontrol.
