Modular Icons LFO 1 Not modulating On Default Patch

Mac M1

Maschine 3.0

I tried reinstalling. I tried restarting the computer. No good.

If I open up the default patch and click on LFO 1 to set the modulation depth on ANY destination, nothing works. BUT if I open up a differnt patch, Dream (in pads) for example, I can set LFO modulation parameters. I tried a macro as well. Nope. Very weird. Bug?

I also tried in both Kontakt Player 7 and 8. Same thing. I also took a patch I created in 7 and saved the preset. Opened it up in 8. In both players, the LFO 1 modulation works. Its only the default patch.

The two images are screenshots of setting depth levels with LFO and macro 1.

thx

It is not a bug, actually (at least not in the usual meaning of the word "bug").

Looks like the init patch was set so that Aftertouch fully modulates LFO 1 amount.

Feel free to modify this and overwrite the Init snapshot.

Ive reposted in Maschine catagory because I thought this could be a 3.0 issue. I also changed the body copy to update and be more clear.

Hey Antonio, I can reproduce the issue inside and outside Maschine 3, it looks like an issue with the Kontakt library. I've reached out for more information and will update the thread when I get some.

Ah!!! I had a feeling I was missing something. Well done, Evil Dragon! I've been told I should use aftertouch more often in my patch design but it's usually an after...thought.

Ya, creating my own default patch with basic waveforms is how i came about this confusion. Thanks for catching this. Sometimes the solution is starring us right in the face and that's why we don't see it 🤪
