Music files cannot be played after Pro 4 update

I just moved from an intel macbook pro to an M3, AND updated to traktor pro4, from pro 3.11.17

No problems with the transfer and install, and on both pro3 and pro4 versions (I can still open both), all the collection seems to be there (8765 tracks), but when I try to load any track, I get the "file cannot be played, it may be missing corrupt or unsupported" message, EVEN THOUGH the track's full-length mini-waveform can be seen in the player. This happens on both pro 3 and pro 4.

I have set the file management directory pathways to the correct folders (there is a new user folder in my name on this new M3 mac) for the root directory and music folders.

I have run the consistency check report, and all 8765 tracks are missing. Tracks not analysed, tracks missing stripe, tracks to analyse are all 0.

What do I need to do to access/load/play all the tracks, with all their beatgrids, cues, bpms etc still intact?

EDIT: I figured it out . I ran the find missing tracks dialogue in the consistency check report, and it found almost all of them (I had deleted a few files over the years, so not a problem).
