Can I move the playback cursor in the Kontakt wave editor?

Hello, I am thinking about buying Kontakt but I want to understand something about how it works first. Is it possible to move the playback cursor/play position in the Kontakt wave editor, similar to how you can do so in any DAW or program that plays audio? My friend has Kontakt and I could not figure out how to do it.
Here's why I want to do this: I am working in another sampler with making rather long loops (around 12 seconds), and every time I need to check my loop start and end positions, I have to listen from the beginning of the sample, which wastes a lot of time. I want to move the playback position to just before the end of the loop so I can hear just the loop transition and assess its quality.

move the sample "Start" to a position right before the loop end.
Hope that's what you are looking for!! (of course, don't forget to set it back after editing 🙄)

You can load Change Velocity script and set it to Fixed mode, then it will modify your input velocity to a single velocity value that you set.

Thanks for your reply; that's a good workaround. I tried it, and it works when I trigger the sample from the keyboard. Kontakt ignores the loop when I use the play button in the wave editor, and if I turn on the loop button next to play button, it always plays from the beginning of the loop.
This means that I have to trigger the correct velocity layer with a keyboard every time I want to check my sample loop points. This is not ideal. Is there a better way?

Thanks! That's much quicker than setting a fixed velocity from my keyboard. I have a workable solution now.
After looking into it, I think I might end up editing my samples and setting loop points in something like WaveLab. Is that what most people do?

Yeah I would absolutely recommend setting loops outside of Kontakt.
