Black Friday Sales - Just Hardware? Nope.

Ok so here we go. I have been wondering about this for quite some time. And sorry if this has already been discussed.

I have spend so much money on NI gear and software and still do… but I still do not really benefit from these purchases in the current Black Friday or any other sales when it comes to buying just the hardware.

Like buying an SxxMK3 keyboard. There is no hardware offer without software. All these offers always come with some version of Komplete or Maschine. So are these offers mainly to attract new users?

So please, how about just HW offers? I do not want to buy software I already own again - some of it multiple times. I would like to get a keyboard or Maschine Mikro or whatever. To work with my existing stuff.

So please, how about pure HW offers?

If you do not get the HW offers that you want at this sale then maybe next sale then ?

Besides then while it is "Cyber Weekend" then hardware wise the the sale stretches from November 14, 2024, until January 15, 2025 (Ref. Terms and Conditions on this page) , and it has been seen before that N.I. adds offers on the fly for as long as the sale is going on so even if there is no 'pure HW offers' now then they could arrive any time if N.I. decides that they should. Therefore check the N.I. site for offers from time to time.

Also on the topic of keyboards then often then an authorized dealer such as Thomann.de typically is EUR 100 cheaper per keyboard when an offer is on than what is charged at the N.I. shop so if you want to save money then that's also a possibility. At the moment then Thomann is actually €138 cheaper in price for the S61 MK3 keyboard itself than what it says at the N.I. shop (€ 710,28 vs € 849). However then there might be advantages of using the N.I. shop compared to using a dealer , I don't know.

True, my point is that you cannot buy hardware without a software package which makes me feel I buy software twice because I already have it. Maybe it makes sense to purchase the HW and then sell the software at some point. Not sure if that would work and also I don't like this approach personally.

€849 minus special Black Friday sales offer of €249 for the standard edition = €600. 🤔
