Komplete 15 / Kontakt 8 Crossgrade Question

Hi

If I purchase Complete 15 Select for $149 AUD I think I'm eligible to buy the Kontakt 8 Crossgrade for $219 (total $368 AUD)

Alternatively I can purchase Komplete 15 Standard for $449 AUD or Kontakt 8 for the same price.

I'm so confused as to what the difference is between buying Komplete 15 and Kontakt 8 (do you get the exact same thing as Kontakt 8 is included in Komplete 15….but the first option (which is cheaper $368) seems to give me the same amount of software…is this correct?

If you you buy the Komplete 15 Standard (or higher tier) then that includes a full version Kontakt 8 , if you buy Kontakt 8 then that does not include the rest of the Komplete 15 Standard bundle.

You get so much with Komplete 15 Standard that at %50 off then that is your best buy , check the Compare page to see how much that you get with Komplete 15 Standard. Both notice section "Flagships" as well as how much more that the bundle comes with. Unless that you do not care for what you get then Komplete 15 Standard is your best investment.

Also then Komplete Select is the comes free with some hardware purchase entry level bundle where as the Kpmplete 15 Standard is the full blown experience with full versions of all the Flagship app software. The rest of the Content can then be acquired later by upgrading the bundle further if you want.

Hold on, so buying the select Band bundle does NOT give you kontakt? You're still stuck on kontakt player only and all the restrictions that go with it?

Yes, as written in my post above then if you want a full version of Kontakt 8 then you need Komplete 15 Standard (or higher tier).

IMO then Komplete Standard is a really great investment in as much as that it gives you the full version of the N.I. apps and a lot of other stuff. It's a particularly advantageous purchase when buying on a sale 🙂 (check the bundle Compare page for content listing and present prices)
