I'd really like to get the FM8 installed as I love those 80's twinkley sounds and it has been a dream of mine for over 20 years (since I started my music tech degree) but I've only ever been able to get the demo version for FM8 on my Mac.

Well, you should find iinstallers for Native Access for your system here: Native Access Legacy Installers for Older Operating Systems

Please try version 1.1.3 (for Os 10.9) and 1.5.1 (for Os 10.10).

Then download the FM8 version suitable for your system, FM8 1.4.1 here: Compatibility of Native Instruments Products on macOS

This is not guaranteed to work, these are unmaintained versions. If it doesn't work out, you'll need to ask for a refund for FM8 or find a more up to date Mac system.

Hi @Jeremy_NI thanks so much for your support. It seems to be the older Native Access that is the issue and from reading earlier forum posts, other users have also had issues.

So, I've downloaded both the N.A 1.1.3 and 1.5.1 on two separate macs (one with Monterey installed). Both times stated 'download failed', searching for latest updates on the web'

I then tried Cloud convert and attempted Zip but that didn't work.

In the meantime, Daniel from customer support has sent me an earlier version of FM8 (1.4.4) which has downloaded - I just can't access it due to Native Access.

So frustrated as I have Logic X installed and have had the demo FM8 in the past :( the previous N.A was still on my machine from 2017 but is now also unable to load as 'checking for updates on web'

    Is remote support available?

I don't want to give up just yet.

    Helen
