Why do I have to choose my controller everytime I switch tracks in KONTAKT 8/CUBASE???

I have a 4500+ Orch template, and now everytime I switch to a track in CUBASE my KONTROL s88 MK3 shows "Default MIDI Template" instead of all the controller options for that plug in UNLESS I go to FILE/CONTROLLER and re-choose K88. This is so annoying! Anybody have a work around for this please????

That sounds like the autofocus of the keyboard is not working, since you mention Cubase, please give this a try: My Komplete Kontrol Keyboard's Autofocus Function Does Not Work in Cubase

Is everything functional in Komplete Kontrol or Kontakt in standalone regarding the keyboard integration?

Are Ableton, Komplete Kontrol, Kontakt, FL Studio running as admin? How to Run a Program as an Administrator

Can you describe step by step how the problem manifests? Anything particular, like duplicating tracks, etc..

When I launch Kontakt 7, 8, and Komplete Kontrol in standalone mode, everything works perfectly. The problem is, when I want to use them in a DAW, Kontakt 7 and 8 no longer detect my Kontrol s88 MK3 automatically. When I go to the options or change MIDI tracks, the Kontrol s88 MK3 loses the connection to Kontakt in the DAW, and I have to go to the Kontakt settings each time to reselected it. I feel like this started for me after the latest update to Kontakt 8.3.0. I'm not sure...
