Midi Dim stopped working after trying to sync with other external gear

I have had 2 Maschine Plus for nearly a year now. I am syncing between them with a DIM cable, one of them sending clock the other one receiving. Last week I tried to connect other external gear with Midi and after that the Midi Dim between my 2 M+ stopped. All settings are correct and as they were before the sync stopped working. The only work-around to this problem is to connect a USB between the 2 Maschines and changing input and Output devices to USB in the Midi Settings. After doing this and then returning to DIM again it works.

I use the M+ as standalones and I am performing live with the Maschines and are worried for the next performance if it stops working suddenly and they dont sync it will be a disaster ;(. I have created a support ticket but did anyone experience the same problem?

Sys Version: 1.5.1.0

Maschine Version: 2.17.5(R0)

FW: 0.1.9

First of all they're DIN connectors, not DIM. It's a German standard that was commonly used for audio and computer equipment.

Second, there's no such thing as "a USB". It has to be a USB something i.e USB plug, USB socket, USB hub etc. USB is a protocol, not a physical thing.

    🙄

I believe there's a known bug that causes this, so hopefully it will be addressed in the Maschine+ update that NI have said is "coming soon"……

Well thank you for clarifiying some misspelling, I guess you did your job now? 🤨

Regarding the 'bug', it was supposed to be addressed in the 0.1.9 FW update but apparently it wasn't since there is still this issue. Though I can't find anywhere online that someone had the same problem after the update, so I will wait to see if someone else has any workaround.
