Maschine+ as satellite tips
Hi all, I'm hoping you can help. I looked for answers but didn't know what search terms to use.
I want to use Maschine+ for songwriting on the "go" (i.e. in a chair on the other side of the house, far away from the desktop computer I normally use for music). I've got an Omincharge battery pack and it all works great! BUT! If I begin writing on my computer, I almost always end picking a patch or instrument or sound (I'm still working on terminology, sorry) that ends up NOT being available on the Maschine Plus.
How are you currently working around this? Can I flag the things available on my + as favorites on my computer so I don't run into this? I could start new projects on the +, but this solution lacks some flexibility. I'm not comfortable managing my own sounds yet, but if that's the best practice, then please let me know.
Thanks for any guidance!

This doesn't solve it, but I did find this thread that seems to be a related question: https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/3489/opening-maschine-desktop-project-on-maschine-if-it-has-unsupported-plugins#latest
@Zigbert D. were you ever able to settle on a workflow? It sounds like we have the same workflow goals here.

Make sure to choose Sounds for the synth engines available on the M+: Bass Synth, Poly Synth, Massive, FM8, Monark, Prism. Avoid Kontakt, since most libraries are not available on the M+. Choose Samples and Loops from the Maschine Factory Library or Expansions. Use only Maschine effects. Avoid excessive effect chains.
All of those sounds should work on the Maschine+.

Perfect, that's easy enough to remember so I should be able to avoid any hiccups. Much appreciated!
