Kontakt Player 7.42. Migrate to OS 14.7.1 Mac. OK to buy Kontakt 8? Will content appear?

Currently using Kontakt Player 7.4.2 with mid-2012 MacBookPro (MBP). I'm migrating to 2021 MBP M-1 Pro with Sonoma OS 14.7.1. I intend to buy Kontakt 8.

Do I need to install Kontakt Player (for Sonoma) on new MBP and then buy Kontakt 8?

OR if I buy Kontakt 8, will my current Player content appear there without having installed Kontakt Player on the new MBP?

    Well, you can do how you want or need. Simply install Native Access on your new system, you can try the Kontakt 8 Player there, and decide to update to the full version or not. For NI libraries only the Player is required.
