Hypha not working in machine

in Komplete Kontrol

Any time I want to open Hypha in machine it just freezes with 50-80 CPU load and nothing happen.

    In case someone else comes across this thread:

    I was able to solve my specific scenario by unchecking the "Always use Latest Version of NI Plug-Ins" checkbox in Maschine 2 software. So this must be some kind of an incompatibility issue.

    what OS, what plug-in format (AU/VST/Kontakt and versions….)?

    Hi!

    That's windows 10. I was loading it viaaschine 2 browse feature. So I assume that's kontact version.

    Have you tried to open Hypha in Kontakt in standalone?

    I have the same issue with Maschine 2.0 software

    I was able to open it in Kontakt in Standalone mode but every time I try to open it in Maschine 2.0 it causes the software to become non-responsive and crash.

    I am also using Windows 10 and I am trying to use one of the presets in Maschine 2.0. The moment I double click, Maschine 2.0 becomes non-responsive and I have to restart it.

    What version of Kontakt are you using? Can you check the version in standalone and in Maschine, is that the same version? Click on the NI logo to see the version.

    Let me know if I captured the right details for you:

    This works to open up Hypha and start in standalone mode

    This is the Maschine 2.0 Version with the checkmark to use latest plugins turned off

    When I loaded it, I was able to figure out how to get the version of the loaded plugin and it looks like it's different

    So it looks like when Maschine 2.18.4 tries to use Kontakt Player 8.2.1 it causes an issue. Let me know if I can get any other details for you.

    Same problem in Komplete Kontrol 2.9.6

    It loads eventually but then crashes

    I can confirm that that 'fix' also works for me (Also using Windows 10 , Maschine SW 2.18.4 , Kontakt 8.2.1 and Kontakt 7.10.7). But also when using newest version of Plug-in setting then while Maschine software becomes unresponsive then the Maschine software then collapse in size to less than two thirds pixels in length and height.

    On my computer then while software becomes unresponsive and CPU use rise then CPU use never rise above %16-%18 CPU use (with %4-%5 while idle with all I have open in browser). (Maybe because of depending on number of cores used is limited ?)

    Then as soon as I grab the upper bar of the unresponsive program then the window goes back to original size :

    Also then Hypha opens just fine in my Kontakt 8 stand-alone app :

    i wonder if this is something that will be addressed since it looks like several people were able to very quickly reproduce the same issue.
