X1 and M4 Kontrollers

Hello

I own both of the above and have just bought a new MacBook Pro. Migration from my old Mac would't transfer the previous interface so am wondering which one I should buy to use with both Kontrollers?

Also the cables that connect from X1 and M4 aren't compatible with this MacBook. Please could you advise?

Much appreciated!

Which generations of X1 and S4 you own? The original first generation? If yes: Both aren‘t supported by NI any more and will not work on modern Macs. For X1 Mk1 there is an inofficial solution by community user @Opa .

If it is Mk2 or Mk3 of these controllers: They are class compliant and should work out of the box. As modern MacBooks only feature USB-C ports you need USB-C-to-USB-B cables. I use some from DJ Techtools with my S4 Mk3. You also can use USB-C-to-USB-A adaptors. Be sure to choose a model supporting at least USB2 data transfer.

the Traktor X1 Mk3, so I'll pick up the above cables - thank you!

Regarding theTraktor interface on my old Mac (which wouldn't migrate) do you know if I should buy the latest version?

Which interface do you have? Audio 2DJ/4DJ/8DJ? The newer models Traktor Audio 2, 6 and 10 should still work on new Macs.

Native Instruments currently doesn‘t offer pure DJ audio interfaces anymore. Just inside S and Z series controllers.
