PC/Traktor 4 Pro / Libary / Genre / Editing

Hello for everyone.

Just got ready my gear, collected my tracks ( aroun 10k ) , started to do smart playlist as from orginal genres. There was some lefties without, lets say 50 of them.

I was clever and make small listening over the tracks, yeah its mainstream EDM , got lazy so selected all of them , mouse second click → EDIT, writed EDM.

Just to notice my whole libary got changed their Genre to EDM, also in the files.

1. Is there magic how to get it cancelled? Step by step guidance please.
2. If not, is there app or program where i could upload files and it analyze and make edit to file and adds its genre automaticly or anythign near this ?

I use the application MP3Tag, which is free/donate. This is everything you need for an easy, deep and complete tagging. Traktor and every other program can see the new values, either instantly either after re-scan.

Here is an example:

You can easily do a mass-tagging by selecting all tracks.

You can connect to databases such as Discogs or MusicBrainz and download/embed every single info of a release.

Or, do an Extended tagging (including Traktor tags) with dozens of options (you can even add a cover in .wav files), like this:

With such a large amount of data that has been changed, I would do nothing other than restore a backup.
