How to switch a Live input from Line to Phono for Traktor S4 MK3 with Haptics Drives
Does anyone know how to switch a Live Input from Line to Phono, for a new Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3 (the one with Haptics drives)?
I'm connecting my turntables to my Traktor, using the Live inputs for the C & D decks. When I do this, the sound is insanely quiet, like a 4 out of 100. I assume this is due to the Live channel still being a Line feed, but I could be wrong. On my old Traktor S4 there's simply a switch on the back, but not on the new one.
Instructions from Support doesn't necessarily cover this. Somewhere it was advised to just press Shift + Ext buttons, but that only switches the decks from Live/Stem/Remix. Is the Phono option even available on this controller?
I can post pics of the Settings if requested. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm sure the manual does cover it! Might want to check again.
From memory just pressing EXT switches to live deck mode. Shift +EXT should make the small phono light glow up.

You good sir are a life saver! Thank you a trillion for the easy answer. I was attempting to connecting the tables to decks C & D (for Mic), and never noticed the phono indicators for the A & B decks, which was why the Shift+Ext never worked and the sound was basically nonexistent. I was starting to get pretty frustrated not being able to figure it out, until you came along and saved puppies from being choked and babies being punched in the face. Thanks again and mix well!
