Kontakt 8 Player - Acoustic Drums for Leap

I thought Kontakt 8 Player was suppose to include Acoustic Drums for Leap. I only show Lo Fi Vibes. Do you have to have the full Version of Kontakt 8 to get it?

    Hey everyone, it seems there are a few issues here, let me recap:

    As part of Komplete Start the Acoustic Drums leap expansion is available to Komplete Start owners. It should be available to install in Native Access:

    Once installed it should appear in the default view of Kontakt 8 Player:

    If it does not show here, try reset the database as shown in the thread.

    Yep. Should be included with the player version per the NI site.

    Hello,

    Acoustic Drums for Leap is free, but it is available through Komplete Start Bundle (which is also free).

    unfortunately I tried to download the free Komplete Start bundle which includes Leap Acoustic Drums but it's not possible.

    I previously downloaded Komplete Start but Leap Acoustic Drums was not included included.

    Has anyone been successful?

    It's the same for me. I registered the Komplete Start package, but Acoustic Drums cannot be found in Native Access.

    Everything else is there.

    Have you checked in Kontakt Player if the Leap expansion is showing? For some of them you don't necessarily need to install anything else in Native Access than the Kontakt Player.

    Ok, can you try the following?

    Reinitialize the Kontakt Database on Windows

    1. Click the Windows start button at the bottom left of your screen.
    2. Type "%localappdata%" and click the option that appears.
    3. Navigate to the Native Instruments folder.
    4. Then, depending on the Kontakt version you are using, delete the following folder:
      Kontakt 5: "Kontakt 5"
      Kontakt 6: "Kontakt"
      Kontakt 7: "Kontakt 7"
      Kontakt 8: "Kontakt 8"
    5. Start Kontakt in standalone mode (not in your DAW).

    Reinitialize the Kontakt Database on Mac

    1. Hold down the alt key on your computer's keyboard and click Go in the Finder menu bar. Choose the appearing Library entry in the drop-down menu.

    2. Navigate to Application Support > Native Instruments.
    3. Depending on the Kontakt version you are using, delete the following folder:
      Kontakt 5: "Kontakt 5"
      Kontakt 6: "Kontakt"
      Kontakt 7: "Kontakt 7"
      Kontakt 8: "Kontakt 8"
    4. Start Kontakt as a standalone application (not in your DAW).

    I am having the same issue (no "Acoustic Drums" found in either Native Access or Kontakt 8). I tried the steps you outlined above for Mac (deleting the Kontakt 8 directory), still no luck.

    I'm having the same issue - tried the steps above to reinitialize, but Acoustic Drums does not appear for Leap though Lo Fi Vibes does.

    Did anyone get an answer to this question? I am also missing the Leap Acoustic Drums in Komplete Start. However, I also remember that there was an issue back in October regarding Samplemodeling Brass Bundle being accidentally included in Komplete Start instead of Leap Acoustic Drums and NI requesting that everyone delete it from their hard drive. NI then offered a voucher for a free product up to $49 in value in place of Samplemodeling Brass Bundle. So I wonder if Leap Acoustic Drums is not showing up now because your NI account considers whatever $49 product you chose with your voucher to be in place of it.

    Same issue, tried all the fixes but no acoustic drums - Leap.
