Maschine's external MIDI out sometimes stops working or get some MIDI notes stuck

Is there a way to get Maschine's external MIDI out to work continuously? Sometimes it stops and doesn't work, and I can only get it to work if I turn the out port off and on in the program or restart the software.

Would it help if I use with an AC adapter? I have an MK3 and love it by the way.
