Kontakt Loaded and I get no sounds

When I load an instance of Kontakt 8, it loads with no issues. Even the preset preview window plays the sounds, however when try load & play an actual sound, you see the keyboard strikes but no sound is heard. The Solo and/or Mute buttons are not engaged… And even worst, the below happens in both "Stand Alone" and "VST" mode.

Occasionally, I will get the "Content Missing" Dialogue box stating "1 file could not be found." To resolve this, I have done a few things…

1. Resolve Manually by pointing Kontakt 8 directly to the file and/or folder where the specific library is using both the "Browse for Folder/File" buttons (IT DOESN'T WORK)

and 2. using the "Resolve Automatically" feature (watching it go through all of the files until it finds the library folder/file for the specific library) and still (IT DOESN'T WORK), once this is done, I then close KONTAKT; open up a new KONTAKT and I go this over and over again…

3. I have even deleted and re-installed a new instance of KONTAKT and still get the same outcome..

HELP !!!
