Komplete Kontrol Plug In wont appear in DAW

in Komplete Kontrol

Hi. So I have what should be an easy question but it has been frustrating.

I am using Ableton as my DAW and I can not get the Komplete Kontrol plug in to load in. I have made sure that it is properly downloaded, that the file is in the correct vst folder, and have even uninstalled and reinstalled but still it does not appear in my plug ins. All my other plug ins show up and work fine and Komplete Kontrol works outside of Ableton but just does not show up even after a VST rescan. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Do you have the "Use VST3 Plug-In System Folders" enabled in Ableton setup? Looking at the plugin list it looks like you might only have the VST2 option enabled.

    Thank you! I had the VST3 folder on but not the system folders. Appreciate the help!
