possible to save instrument and fx chain in komplete kontrol?

Sup everyone, I did some googling for the answer to this, and I found some old threads of others wanting to do this as well. To be more specific, I want to, for example, load an instrument in komplete kontrol software and design a sound. Then I'd like to be able to save the patch along with the fx for easy recalling and future use. Is this possible in version 3.0?`

In short, yes. The one thing it Use to do very well was allow loading of presets from your plugins, personally I found it useful to browse 3rd party plugins as I don't use much of NIs other plugins myself. Effects were never really usable in KK because not only can you not save FX chains you also cannot automate any parameters within a DAW when loaded in KK either so it makes it kind of useless for a live performer using KK standalone because they can't pre-design an instrument + FX chain, and it is almost useless in a production environment because without the ability to automate parameters you can't do much with effects at all.

Notice how I use the pretense in my descriptions tho, it was great IMO before v3 of KK released this kind of managed to ruin the one thing it was good at. too many issues to mention but added together it makes it a terrible experience, slow, clunky. User feedback and suggestions have also never been accepted, literally never in the 10 years so feel free to make suggestions on how they may improve things, but expect to receive nothing.

Thanks Kymeia. So whats the purpose of komplete kontrol is it just glorified preset browsing like whats its strengths?

Its main purpose is to function as an interface between the keyboard, plugins and preset libraries.

There are plugin chainers you can load that allow you to do what you want - I use Newsonicarts Freestyle to stack complex chains of instruments and fx and map them to Komplete Kontrol knobs

After reading your reply, I won't bother with feedback and just uninstall it. I actually got really frustrated reading your reply because I feel like we as end users see more potential in these products than NI does. There are already enough angry users, so I'll refrain from going on a rant, but man, KK is such a letdown.
