Hi has anyone else experienced this?

Absynth crashing in standalone - Ableton won't open after scanning the VST version of absynth ,

then logic pro x will open but also crashes if I try to insert absynth on an instrument channel.

I'm a mac running - Big sur - 11.2.3 -

all my other native instruments work fine inc addon packs +

Hi @converted deleting a user preference and reinitializing the database usually helps. Have you tried the steps in this article?

I'm on the latest MacOS and just fired up Absynth fine (I never use it, TBH). Seems to work standalone and in Logic

The same issue but on Windows 10. Can anyone help with the solution please? Absynth 5 is not loading - not standalone application, nor as VST in Cubase 10. Moreover Cubase crashes now every time I'm trying to open any project with Absynth in it.

Ok, my solution was to downgrade to previous version 5.3.1 from the "UPDATES FOR LEGACY PRODUCTS" on the NI website.
