No sound from Mikrofreak in Maschine MK3
Hey,
So I followed and watched all the videos related to this, my set is:
Settings:
MIDI - send
Input - Mikrofreak, Status - On
Output Maschine, Status - off
Channel
Input - In1 L+R, MIDI - Mikrofreak
Output - Group
Sampling - Input Ext. MonoInput 1L
Monitor On
When I play Mikrofreak I see the pad on Maschine blink but no sound :( I do see Mikrofreak in MIDI options.
I even went to Guitar Center to test the cable from the audio out from Mikrofreak to see if it worked, and it did, so the problem is on Maschine's side.
I did use Maschine's to input sound in 1 L+R to sample from vinyls before but with Mikrofreak the sound is not coming out.

Also have you set this up that way?
Trigger sounds of the MicroFreak from an external device:
Connect a MIDI cable from the external device’s MIDI OUT to a ⅛” to 5-pin MIDI adapter, and connect it to the MicroFreak MIDI IN.
Navigate to the MIDI menu in Utility mode or the Device tab in MIDI Control Center and change the following settings:
Output dest: MIDI or when connected to a computer, BOTH. (I would use the "both" setting and turn off "midi through" on maschine)
Input and Output chan: Desired MIDI channel
Local: ON
Knob send CCs: OFF

Hello,
can you maybe connect the mikrofreak to an amp or speaker directly, but let maschine control it via midi, that way we would no midi works but audio not. Or has the mikro freak some indicator for midi in and it works? Also try to play the mikrofreak with the piano it has. So we can rule out things one by one.

Thank you. I really wanted to sample in Maschinen, and I have seen other people connecting the Mikro into it and playing sound, so I'm confused as to why it's not working on my side.

Please try what I suggested, we will get it working. It's really just a setup issue, I'm sure. Could be also the midi channel not corresponding on both devices.
