"Installation failed" error when installing Kontakt 8 Player on Windows10
Hey. I'm trying to install the kontakt 8 player through native access on windows 10, but every time I try one out of two thigs happen: 1- it gives me the "installation failed" error, with no further explanation or 2- Native Access says that the installation was completed, but the program doesn't appear in my library and the install button reappears (so, the program says the installation was completed qhen it really wasn't).
I hope someone can help me or knows what to do.

Normally this issue can be caused by an outdated Native Access version.
So , to solve that, I would kindly suggest to make sure that you are using the latest version of the Native Access (3.14.0). Here is the website from where you can download the latest version of it:

Then please restart your computer afterwards.

I had a really funky experience with some installs as well recently, however I am on windowss 11. There can be a lot of factors that go into an installation failing. If you follow the path found in your preferences you should see the kontakt 8 setup application, try running that. Also make sure you have enough space on your storage, the download size doesnt always mean the install size so make sure you have plenty of storage. To do a fresh install open installed apps on windows and see if you can uninstall it that way. If you are still having problems then contact their support. They are very helpful but also very busy so it can take a while. Good luck!
