Does Native Instruments have a plan on implementing KK3 to add stacking instruments for layering like with Kontakt now that it’s been implemented and successful?

    We have a prototype of this internally.

    It's actually kind of fun, especially if you assign some sort of control to manipulate the blend between the two.

    However, it's not particularly stable at the time of writing. Hosting two plug-ins at once opens up a pandora's box of edge cases with automation and display. So it may not see the light of day, but it certainly is interesting.

    That's unfortunate to hear. I was hoping they’d be working on this by now since they did such a great job with the update for Kontakt.

    NI has a big fat sign in the developer's corner that reads "Don't turn it into KORE"…

    If Maschine 3 finally gets aftertouch support though, and depending on how 'basic' the MkIII support is (or not) I think people who use KK may look to that as KK's bigger and more capable sibling with respect to multiple instruments and fx.
