Mic recordes all sounds and groups with the maschine mk3

hi folks, I’m struggling with audio recording in the mk3. When i want to put some vocals over a certain pattern it records not only my voice but also the pattern running in the background. And it is not the mic recording it, since i unplugged the mic to check if the sound will be recorded. How do i get rid of other sounds on the one sound slot i recorded my voice?

It sounds like you just need to set the input to your mic instead of "internal"

Hi thanks darkwaves. I will test it when I’m at home. I guess ext mono or stereo wasn’t possible, since I’m using an aggregated device. Thanks for the hint, I will test it later and tell u the outcome
