Help - "Looks like something went wrong" S61 MK3 fix

Hi guys,

Just received the S61 Mk3 I ordered, had to order another USB C to USB A cable to connect it to my PC, got it connected and updating through the Firmware Updater. While it was updating, I unplugged the only other USB (an audio interface) I had connected as I read someone say that you should do this.

Well, it disconnected to MK3s cable (or at least made the disconnection beep), and now the keyboard can still be updated through the Firmware Updater, but on the keyboard screen it says "Looks like something went wrong. Please rerun the update on your computer."

So I have two questions: will the keyboard update in this state? And if anyone has any ideas as to why the keyboard's USB only stabilises connection when the other USB is plugged in I'm all ears.

Thanks to anyone that gets this far

    Hello,

first I don't think it is more stable with the other device not connected, it was just the fact you disconnected it while updating I guess - but even that should normally not happen. You can now only try to run the update again. What does the updater shows what the keyboards firmware is actually? We had one case lately where an update failed and then it took 3 hours for the updater to get the firmware somehow up and running again.

@dlovelock Have you tried running the updater again, as prompted? Do you still need help on this one?
