Pioneer XDJ AZ with TP4?

Thanks for the info! Obviously you have a lot of gear and familiarity. As mentioned, I don't plan on lugging any of my own equipment to these clubs; most already have either DJM A9 or V10. So what I want to accomplish is emulate some of the best things I like about my Traktor set up (for smaller gigs I too can grab my S4 MK3 and items and go) but at these locations. Maybe the most I'd have to bring is the DJS 1000 if that club doesn't have it.
Been interested in Maschine as well, but not familiar with the gear to use. Really just trying to go as much stand alone as I can but still retain the features I use the most (FX Combos, Tone Play, Remix Deck, etc). I'm still thinking the DJS 1000 should do many of these things, but not sure.
Thank you for all the info!

I hopped on this post while trying to see if there is any support on the AZ yet. As a full time DJ and Traktor user, I realize that there are people who don't realize that you can actually connect Traktor via midi to devices like the RX3 and XZ, all of which I use constantly for work (as it's what they are using). Not as well as the HID on 3000s but well enough to get the job done.
If anyone needs the mapping files for the XZ, RX2, RX3, SZ etc just hit me up I will be glad to share.
But honestly, I think that NI is super slacking on the compatibility department I might eventually switch to other platforms. Even Serato has already mapped NI devices like the S2mk3.

Its amazing some of the short sighted answers in this thread.
Speaking as a Rekordbox User for the last 8 years… the reason why you would want to use traktor in HID mode instead of RekordboxDJ… is because Traktor has SUBSTANTIALLY better STEM functionality than Serato, Rekordbox and VDJ. You can have a high/low pass filter on each stem… and you can route any stem into any one of the 4 effect modules. If you dont think thats important then you obviously are not a DJ that imbraces new technology and uses it to improve your workflow and your performance.
all the DJs out there that think that the ProLink platform is "good enough" or that HID mode with RBDJ7 is "good enough" are just short sighted or have no desire to better themselves through the use of new technology hitting the market.
As for making HID mode work with the XDJ AZ with software packages outside the Alpha-Theta family… this is just corporate greed as usual. Alpha Theta does this with every hardware release. They purposely hold back the release of the HID mode integration of 3rd party software for typically a year… to try to force as many performers into ProLink or HID mode with RBDJ7 as possible.
it is not in the best interest of the Alpha Theta's to make HID mode for Traktor and VDJ happen immediately. They are using their leverage, having put out an excellent hardware product like the XDJ AZ to force as many swing voters (for lack of a better term) to their eco-system as possible. They do this with every hardware release.0
