I am unable to record in ableton 12 live lite nor am I able to record in audacity with my Komplete 1

I followed all the instructions to set up ableton live to record, the signal comes into the interface, but I can not record this. I work on a windows laptop and already downloaded the ASIO driver. but there still is this pop-up message in ableton, which says: 'To route audio into live,select an audio driver and an audio input device. You can then configure the individual inputs using the Input Config button' despite me having done all that, it still shows up. can anyone please help me?

Just to check that it is not related to that then try Disabling exclusive mode for ASIO interfaces

Else if you setup the Komplete Audio 1 interface (assuming that that's what this is about) and if the KA1 otherwise is working and setup correctly then maybe you will have better luck over at the Ableton Live forum ?

Also what are your Windows version and what is your "already downloaded ASIO driver" and what version is that ASIO driver ?
