Komplete MK2 s88 Keyboard Recognition in Cubase

S88 keyboard not being recognised in Cubase, using Komplete Kontrol and as a controller. Even when recognised the keyboard plays sounds in the samples but the keyboard in the sample does not show any notes being pressed. On occasion, the sample loaded in Cubase and no activity from the keyboard, and no sound was generated, wasted so much time with this. I have downloaded a new driver, checked the settings in Studio setup, and checked the engines running in services in Task Manager. What am I missing?
