Will Maschine 3 software be included with all keyboards?

I wonder if the new Maschine 3 software will be included with NI's keyboards? My understanding is that in the past Maschine 2 Essentials was included with M-, A- and S- keyboards. I'm just about to buy a S61 Mk3 keyboard but I wonder if I should wait until after Nov 6 because it might save me having to pay for the upgrade of Maschine 2 to Maschine 3.

It will not be included - it will be available separately.

Keyboards include Komplete Select and other software but no Maschine software, I doubt that will change when Maschine SW 3 is out

No. Some KKS Keybs actually do come with Maschine 2 Essentials as OP stated, the A-Series and M32:

Like I said above the S Series not currently include MAS - Essentials, I would not expect that to change… Altho it's quite strange that cheaper keyboards have it and the expensive ones do not. 🤔

Maybe it's because the S-Series MK3 doesent have any Maschine Integration and giving it for free would just confuse users? No idea 🤷‍♂️

Be careful, I purchased the mk3 s49 thinking it would work the same in maschine. You can't even use the browse button, and if you swap groups it doesn't work as the previous models did. NI said they woukd troubleshoot, butafter being asked of it would actually allow me to use the features on keyboard, they moved swiftly to a refund process. It was also pointed out to me that maschine 3 atm only boasts "basic integration" and that might mean anything. Really bizzare that it boasts it works with all DAWS, but won't work on their own. My advice is wait and see what happens.

If the Maschine software is your priority I would also think about looking for an S series MK2 keyboard second hand. It has good integration with Maschine 2 and from what I gather this will continue with version 3. It will mean paying for the upgrade or to continue using version 2 however.

A very strange decision by NI to disassociate the MK3 boards from Maschine only made stranger now version 3 is coming soon.

not at all the Kontrol keyboard and the Maschine grove box are 2 separate device. now if you buy a new Maschine after the update comes out it will come out with the software im sure,

I should clarify that I have a Maschine Mikro and Maschine 2 software. I just sold my S61 Mk2 to replace it with S61 Mk3 and cheekily asked if it would come with Maschine 3.0 so that I wouldn't need to pay for the update for my Maschine Mikro hardware. Matthew says 'no' which is fair enough and I still look forward to the Maschine 3.0 software. As an aside, in the past I did try to use my Mk2 as a Maschine controller and didn't think it was all that great which is why I bought the Mikro.

I don't think the S series MK2 boards were ever intended to be a standalone controller for Maschine but rather a handy way to compliment the Maschine controller, especially the Maschine studio and Maschine MK3. The integration it offered with Maschine, my Maschine MK3 and Maschine Jam offered a really great combo.

I'm interested to see what new features Maschine 3 brings to the table and if that might mean a new Maschine MK4 may come along sometime next year. It might even revive my interest in the Maschine ecosystem.

Entirely agree! I though too that the combination of my Mikro plus the S16 Mk2 worked well. Hope that new Maschine 3.0 software plus the firmware updates to the S61 Mk3 together end up with something close to that. We should know soon.

NI have been very careful and understated with wording like "basic integration" when it comes to any development regarding integration between Maschine 3 software and MK3 S series keyboards. I wouldn't expect too much, that way you won't get too disappointed. I don't see any way that it could have anywhere near what the MK2 series has.

As you write of Maschine Mikro without Mk2 or Mk3 behind it (other as with your S61 Mk2) a little reminder: Only Maschine Mikro Mk3 will be supported by Maschine 3.0.
