When I drag a sample into Maschine mk3 and try duplicating my Maschine freezes any suggestions?

What format is the sample in?

its in wav format

Mac or PC?

When I get a sample from YouTube & convert it to wav, I use to be able to drag the sample into Maschine & duplicate with no problem. Now it just freezes on me if I touch any of the categories by the pads

That could be a matter of permissions on your system, if you're on Mac make sure to give full disk access to Maschine: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS
