Maschine Workflow for Steinberg VST Live Pro 2

Hi,

I am planning to use Steinberg VST Live for a live gig. Let assume a set list with two songs A and B. Song A contains a layer with Maschine2 plugin and Maschine MK3 as MIDI input. For Song A I have an own Maschine file a.mxprj, for B I have a similar setup but using Maschine file b.mxprj.

The issue is that Maschine works only for one song. Let assume it works for song A. As soon as I switch to song B and load b.mxprj into MK3 then VST Life2 does not recognize any MIDI signal from my Maschine MK3. The only thing I could do is creating within VST Life a new layer for Maschine and load b.mxprj which could be quite challenging during a live act. But then Maschine works for song B but not for song A anymore. Is there a way to manage it that Maschine MK3 works for two and more songs without manual adjustments during the concert?

I guess it's an issue on VST Live side, but maybe there is somebody in the community who solved this issue or found a better workflow when using MaschineMK3 & Steinberg VST Live.(?)

Cheers

I never used "VST Life2" but on regular DAW's pressing Shift+Instance on the controller allows you to pick witch Maschine-Plugin instance you want the controller to focus on.

Ideally in a live Scenario you'd want all MAS instances pre-loaded, as long as your computer can handle it.
